As the centerpiece of a golf course community, Red Hawk Run strives to create a comfortable yet challenging experience for the avid golfer. Nestled between rolling farmland and strands of mature hardwoods, the course also features three secluded ponds and a flowing creek to provide a quaint relaxing atmosphere. Water hazards abound with the constant presence of the menacing Red Hawk and Eagle Lakes. Golfers will also need to navigate a creek on six of the 18 holes. Since it’s opening, Red Hawk Run has collected many awards and accolades. In 2004, Golf magazine recognized Red Hawk Run as the 18th best golf course in the U.S. “Thrifty Fifty.” Golf Digest has rated Red Hawk Run 4. 5 stars in 2002, 2004 and 2006. The 18-hole championship course has five sets of tees, a sizable driving range, well-equipped pro ship and 19th hole. The practice area features an 8.5 acre range with Bent grass tees and target greens framed by sand bunkers to create realistic practice settings. And, the newly renovated Hawk’s Nest restaurant features a wide variety of menu items. Red Hawk Run is located east of Findlay on U.S route 224. It is situated ten minutes from Interstate 75 and has access from every direction by way of U.S. routes 224, 12, 23 and 30.
