The organization operates seven courses located conveniently throughout Cuyahoga county that vary from sporting par-3 facilities like Shawnee Hills and Mastick Woods, to championship-level layouts such as Manakiki and Sleepy Hollow, which challenge even the most accomplished golfers. Cleveland Metroparks offers an online tee time reservation service that can be accessed any hour of any day. Tee times can be reserved online at the following Cleveland Metroparks golf courses: Manakiki, Sleepy Hollow, Shawnee Hills and Big Met. Tee times can be made five days in advance, beginning at noon, and cost a non-refundable booking fee of only $1. In the upcoming year, Cleveland Metroparks will also be offering a 2009 Academy of Golf. The mission of the academy is to provide a variety of high quality learning opportunities for golfers of all skill levels, age and gender, to improve their golf skills, knowledge and enjoyment of the game. Ultimately the goal of the academy is to meet everyone’s individual golf goals. The golf season in Cleveland Metroparks begins in mid-March and continues through December, weather permitting.
